"The smokier side of metal (blackgaze, sludge metal, etc) has always hit a heavy nostalgia point with my mid-present-life abandon, and so I somewhat wanted to capture that sort of sound with this release. Thus I created two new aliases as well as my own style and recorded this sometime a year or two ago. I've changed the sound of this split between then and now so it's a bit of a new experiment to create more stylistically-unique aliases, but I'm looking forward to how things are going to play out!"
